Torque required to rotate a cement mixer..? its not a homework question though, i am actually trying to design a cement mixer and someone recommended that the homework section may be able to help, i worked it out myself using the equation (mG X 4pi/3 x R sin theta) i got an answer of around 60kNm but thats a massive torque, was wondering where i went wrong or has any one, a more suitable equation. |
