I have been a SQL developer for 5 years. Along the way, I've picked up VBA with my work in MS Access and SQL Server. I am learning .NET by way of C#, which I started fooling around with in December of 2011. My main interests are applications which use a database to store and retrieve parameters necessary for the application to execute, as well as record results of execution for future reference.

Eventually, I plan on creating a simple neural network so I can study how programs can be designed to evaluate data presented to it and then make a decision based on the available information. A "pie-in-the-sky" dream would be for the program to utilize a database to store "memories" based on past experiences and use those results as a way to influence future decision making.
