Last question is a little out of scope for Physics, but no, no one has reached it yet, too high pressure and temperature. Deepest point reached is en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kola_Superdeep_Borehole, deepest point is about 12 000m (~40 000 ft)

comment Is this kids experiment a legitimate way to show that air has mass?
The way I was taught was with a spherical flask, weighed with air in it, and then it was emptied of air using a vacuum pump. And weighed again.
