Physics Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for active researchers, academics and students of physics. It's 100% free, no registration required.

I am looking for a recommended introductory book on polymer physics.

I do not have sufficient time to learn the whole field. I am specifically interested in physics of biological polymers, and even more specifically in DNA and chromatin, so I would like to learn mainly material relevant to that. Therefore, I am guessing that general polymer physics book might not be specific enough for my needs (but I might be wrong).

I would appreciate any suggestions as to what books might be relevant.
