Can you get all/most of the knowledge you need of Linear Algebra for QM in a one year course? I know for certain my course also includes eigenvectors and eigenvalues towards the end of the year.. |

I think such a course will indeed introduce the math needed for understanding a basic introduction to quantum mechanics. Go for it. But the rabbit-hole goes deep. |

It depends upon on you. If you are interested and if you give much time then one year is enough time to cover the required mathematics for QM. Otherwise 5 year is not enough to learn. It depends upon on your concentration. |
