A heater and thermocouple are used to measure and control the temp. T of a sample at $T_{0}=250^{o}C$. A feedback circuit supplies power P to the heater according to the equation $P=P_{0}+G(T_{0}-T)-D \frac{dT}{dt}$ with appropriately tuned values of the coefficients G and D. In order to maintain temperature stability in the presence of an external heat perturbation which causes small but rapid fluctuations of temperature , which factor that i have to control...?
