Is the following true:

  • Two massive bodies with variable distance between them do not emit GR in any direction

  • Two bodies that revolve around common center will not emit in the plane of their orbits

  • But they will emit in all other directions with the maximum along the axis of rotation perpendicular to the orbit's plane

"Two massive bodies with variable distance between them do not emit GR in any direction." This is certainly false, since the Hulse-Taylor system has an elliptical orbit. – Ben Crowell May 3 at 3:48
Statement #2 is contradicted by Schutz, A first course in general relativity, p. 231. – Ben Crowell May 3 at 3:55
