What are equations for voltage ratio (primary/secondary) of...

  1. the action of a transformer with a turn ratio (turns primary/turns secondary) of X/Y and a toroidal core of cross-sectional radius R and inner diameter D? (fig. 1)
  2. Cylindrical core transformer of turn ratio (X/Y) and core diameter D (fig.2).

Optimally these should account for composition of core. Also, please let me know if I'm missing any parameters.

It would help if you could explain in a bit more detail what exactly you're looking for. You say "What are equations governing", I could answer F=ma or Z=R+iX and I wouldn't necessarily be wrong (or helpful). – tmac Apr 28 '12 at 5:54
