given the Green function which satisfy

$\frac{d}{dt}G(x,s)- \frac{d^2}{dx^2}G(x,s)+V(x)G(x,s)= \delta (x-s)$

for a given potential $ V(x)$ can we obtain a semiclassical WKB solution for the Green function ?? thanks.

Shouldn't it contain also a time delta-function in the right-hand side? – Vladimir Kalitvianski Dec 29 '11 at 16:07
The semi-classical Green's function is described by the Gutzwiller trace formula. This is reviewed in many places. – Ron Maimon Dec 29 '11 at 16:43
