In this "question" I propose typing into LateX of lecure notes by John Preskill, http://www.theory.caltech.edu/~preskill/notes.html. Project could involve more people sharing the job. I think it is really worthy, because these lectures are remarkable. Similair project was done with lecture notes by Sidney Coleman.

Whiles the project sounds like a good idea, this is not a "question" in the sense that our FAQ requires. You could try chat, or put a link in your profile. – dmckee Nov 4 '11 at 13:37
Thanks, I wasn't aware these were available online. By the way, some of the QFT notes were previously LaTex'ed by Vineer Bhansali, iirc, now some big time bond manager at PIMCO. Anyhow, shouldn't it be possible to do the bulk of the LaTex'ing with OCR nowdays? – user1631 May 30 '12 at 18:39
