You are welcome to ask about the underlying concepts provided that these questions would not be duplicates. To approach this problem you should ask yourself two question: 1) what generates electromagnetic radiation in the first place and 2) how would moving the plates of the capacitor affect the capacitance and thus the behavior of the circuit. – dmckee Sep 26 '11 at 15:52
