when i am walking in our railway station at night i observed a train coming with lights i thought that two trains are coming aside to each other.But it was only one train having two lights .Which property of light makes it look like so, what is the reason of that one

Um... I don't see how this question makes sense. You saw two lights, you thought they were on separate trains, but they weren't. It's just a case of interpreting an observation the wrong way. Unless there's more to this question than I'm seeing (and if there is, you really need to edit it to clarify it), there's no physics involved. – David Zaslavsky♦ Jun 7 '11 at 17:03
A rather important information were, did that train have one headlamp? Not all countries/railways have a single headlamp. – Georg Jun 7 '11 at 20:27
